Hello,
I have Sony KV-27EXR25 TV. Relay clicks but it is dead. When I made some
search on this model and symptom, I followed all the troubleshooting steps
which did not change anything. First I have replaced IC651 (STRS6301); did
not make any changes. Then took it to a TV repair shop for
diagnosing/estimate. I was told that C655 (47mf-50V) on the power board and
Q502 2SC4729 on the main board were bad. Repair labor was $100 (parts cost
about $10). So I decided to replace them at home even though I later found
out C655 was OK. Still did not make any changes.
Continuing the search on the internet, replaced D623 and Q604 on the power
board. Still it clicks OK, but dead.I have spent a lot of time but I could
not find any short and other problems.AC reaches to the power board. Even
though I like to spent my spare time with this TVand electronics, It would
be nice to see some improvement on TV so I can regain my confidence on this
hobby.
Also, is there any place that I can find schematic of this model?
I appreciate for any suggestion, information.
