Having a heck of a time with a Sony KV32s20,Set had Q601, 602, H-out
shorted, R607 open, Replaced and blew again, Found bad solder on h drive
trans., repaired and replaced components again with a kit which also
included a VDR601..Checked everything for shorts ok.Set AC to 70VAC and plug
in, B+ was about 70VDC I think, As I was about to check the other volts,
R622 smoked. This is a fuseable 10 ohm in series with VDR601. This time
only Q601 blew, The old VDR was V10431U, the new one is v10241U,, the old
one reads open, while the new one reads 28 ohms, I am thinking maybe the kit
had the wrong part, Anyone ever ran into this and how to check a VDR?
