sony eating 12v regs

sony m#kp-53v45(working without manual)dead set ic655 12v regulator
shorted.replaced but instantly shorted new one.20v coming into
reg.checked for load on output but found none.ps602 is open(-15v
source).two weeks ago i replaced shorted d528 & both stk convergence
paks(ic809,810)which cured bad convergence problem.this set is in
customers home on 2nd floor so i am working with main chassis only.any
ideas b 4 ordering service manual?also,checked for load on source side
of ps602 but ok.might have 2 problems here.george
 
Capacitors in SMPS. ESR them all.

May also want to check the soldeering at the horiz driver transformer and
LOPT.
