Sony DVP-C650D Strange Noise/Oscilation at Turn On.

I have an odd problem with this DVD player.
When its turned on there is alot of herringbone-Oscilation
noise that changes as time goes by. After about 2 minuets
the noise goes away ans everything looks fine.

I have swapped out the power supply board. its OK.
Problem exists somewhere on the Processer
board with all the Big ass IC's on it.

Seems like a capicator problem.
Has anyone else run across this?
If so Please tell me.?!?

Check for high ESR caps on the main board, since you proved it cannot be the
power supply. Also, it is possible that there is a clocking frequency that
is off and is beating against some other reference, until warm-up. This can
be a difficult one to find, if it is not a cap.

There are two crystals that i can see, one is a small tin can type
another is closer to ine of the other i.c.'s and looks like a semiconductor,
but its a crystal of a different sort.
i also just made a recent discovery.
there is a small trimmer listed ad Video level, which does indeed adjust the
Video level,But also in doing so, the herringbone problem comes back ,
the lower i adjust the video level the less aparent it is. and if i set
video level to
refference point the herringbone is just on borderline of showing up again.
