You have offered no reference to voltages, scan pulses, and etc.

There are several things that can cause your description.

The power supply may be seeing a short, the protection may be cycling,
the power supply itself may have failed, the horiz output stage may
have failed, and or the vertical deflection area has failed. Also, it
is important that the standby supply is functioning properly as well.

If the horiz output transitor is shorted, which is common, then there
will also most likely be failed parts in the power supply as well.

The horiz output trans will sometimes fail, from the flyback being
defective, and or the drives to it have failed going back via the scan
pre-driver stage, or the scan generator circuit itself. There may also
be some components in the horiz output stage in themselves that have
also caused the main failure in the first place.

You would most likely have to take the set to someone who is
experienced on Sony sets. These sets can be a challange for even the
most experienced of techs!

Going by your question, I would suggest taking the set in to a Sony
rep, or someone who knows the Sony sets, for a proper estimate. There
are also many safety issues with working in these sets.

Thanks Jerry,
But i not that professional in TV circuit, basic electronics troubleshoot is
ok. Can we go in step for the troubleshoot? Previously when this problem
happen, i ever manage to power on the unit successfully with no error once
or twice, but the screen went blackout after minutes. Now problem have gone
worse and no recovery since then. Could it be some related loose parts or
intermittent faulty parts, how can i confirm that the power circuit is good?
pls help to advise, thanks.

This is going to be too complex to fix over an email. You will have to
purchase the service manual from Sony to start with. Then you will
have to follow up by logicaly testing the various functions starting
in the power supply.

You will also need the proper tools, setup, and training to service
your set. These types of faults are not for someone to easily fix at
home.

I would suggest for you to give the set to a service center that can
service Sony sets. These types of problems can be a challange even for
an experienced tech.

There are also some important safety issues when working in these
sets.

Hi...If it were my set the first thing I would try is to change the OptoCoupler
IC (located near the mains on\off switch) at the front left corner of the
chassis when it is viewed from the rear. OptoCoupler is probably a PC111 or
PC113. You can use either. this is a common fault.

all the very best Peta**
