socket for MEMS accelerometer

Guest
hi,

I bought an Analog MEMS accelerometer (http://www.analog.com/en/prod/
0%2C2877%2CADXL193%2C00.html) and I'd like to be able to put in on a
breadboard for prototyping purposes. Does anyone know what kind of
socket is suitable and where I can get it? The pin configuration is a
bit unusual: 3 on each long side and 1 on each short side.

thanks,
Jon.

Sockets for this sort of package are built on a special semi-custom
basis; if you can find one expect it to cost somewhere between $200
and $500.

It is not advisable to socket an accelerometer anyway because you'll
get mechanical drift and difficulty in reproducing results. The
package is designed to self-align on a PCB by surface tension forces
during reflow soldering.
