SO/ RO, high resolution high speed sigma-delta modulator

Hi,All:

For high resolution(dynamic range) and high speed(high signal
bandwidth) sigma-delta modulator design, there are "SO" and "RO"
techniques, which one is better for high resolution and high speed
applicatoin?

What is the drawback on RO technique?
