Hi,

I'm trying to locate some of these ICs, heck, even a pair would do as a
starter. They are GPIB/IEEE-488 driver and receiver ic's, commonly found (
i believe ) in old HP equipment and ( i guess ) many other peripherals that
connect to the real world by this interface.

If anyone has some of these, even if they are still on a pcb and have to be
desoldered, please contact me ( preferably by email ).

On a slightly different topic, if anyone has any old Commodore computer
equipment they want to get rid of, let me know what you've got.

Thanks,

Mike

IIRC, I have an unused pair of these. They can be yours for the cost
of postage. It may take me a while to find them though ...

TI still make the 75160 and 75161 in DIP and SOIC. They're about US$1.50
from DigiKey. For other sources try www.findchips.com
