I'm wanting to start a project that will require some SMT soldering and
have read up on how to do so (from both metcal & google).
The one question I have before I try to teach myself the technique is
what type of flux/solder should I be using (i.e.. RMA/no-clean/aqueous)
and if cleaning is necessary how should this be done (in the home
environment).
BTW. is cleaning in fact necessary for no-clean fluxes (I've come across
a number of no-clean flux removal products while on various supplier
sites).
Thanks in advance for any advise.
