Hello,

I'm asking for help with identification of three sm devices.

1. Q1, marked "I GE": probably N-channel JFET
_
2. D2, marked "A 7": diode or BJT used as a diode
<http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/12b4-4w-jpg.html>

_
3. Q2, marked "M 5": probably PNP BJT
<http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/12b4-4x-jpg.html>

BTW, the photos show the PCB of Sony's AN-102 active antenna.
Q1 works as RF amp, D2 (and not shown D1) are used for input
protection.

Q2 is the electronic switch which connects the RF amp stage to
the supply voltage.

TIA

With as many USENET posts as you have made,
http://groups.google.com/groups/search?enc_author=_VabuhcAAACsWHZnGZ1ek0y-U4KtLl-PB1Hc9fHpdsUpsHWSaTlxhQ&scoring=d
it's amazing that you don't have a better posting technique.

1) As Raveninghorde mentioned in s.e.d,
news:f6sih5d4qg1bcfeo8pbu1j2aagneftd9an@4ax.com
this is a simple one-Google problem
--which you would have discovered
**IF** you had made that slight effort.

2) Multi-posting is exceptionally bad form.
Post ONCE;
put the names of **all** groups in which you want the question
to appear on the To line, separated by commas.

3) If you think your post didn't go through,
look at Google's USENET Archive.
e.g. http://groups.google.com/group/sci.electronics.repair
Google Groups' latency is very low.
