From the product pitch page:

It bears a striking resemblance to Solder Party\'s RP2040 Stamp
which sees the GPIO pins broken along the perimeter of the board,
but with Micro RP2040 we have an onboard USB C interface, but it
came at a cost.

Does anyone see what \"came at a cost?\" Fewer pins?
The Micro\'s pitch looks like 2.54 mm instead of the Stamp\'s 2.00 mm.
And Micro also looks more surface mountable than the Stamp.

Danke,

There was a young lady named Bright Whose speed was far faster than light;
She set out one day In a relative way And returned on the previous night.

In February I bought a few of these, they have a tiny WS1812 (16M color) LED integrated:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004281549886.html

Headers are 0.1\", the \'no headers\' version came with loose headers so I can choose SMD or pins up or down.
Programming is easy, the boot loader emulates a disk drive and dropping an UF2 file programs it.

yes, afaict tell fewer pin because bigger pitch and one edge taken up by the USB connector
