Most I see usually are 470pF or 680pF across C-E of HOT on most sets
for 15.7KHz operation. Typical voltage rating is 2KV but once in
while see 3KV.
Now my question, I occassionally comes across a set that has a crispy
cap in that location and replacing it fixes that whole set. But I was
concerned about heat that little cap is making too much heat. Picture
is perfect.
For this question that was from an Philips PL7125-C122 chassis
(25B800). C506, 680pF 2KV.
If this has heat from that cap, there is problem somewhere?
