Skytronic kit - any good? (Partial repost)

Partial repost of a previous question about this kit. The
dilemma is about whether it is better to buy a piece of kit by
Skytronic or pay about twice the price to buy another brand.....
Is Skytronic kit any good?

The particular kit item in question is this,

be only for home use. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has

I meant to include a link to this one which is cheaper still but
doesn't have a -ve output. I'm also not convinced about the
accuracy with which I could set its voltage.
