simulation results do not update

When I run a AC simulation the output log and the spectre.out files do
not update with just the new data instead it repeats the last
simulation results, although the netlist updates. also, when changing
the simulation mode (for example DC to AC) it will continue to
simulate the DC simulation.
This occurs from the third simulation and on.
A way to overcome this problem is by setting the spectre.env
'controlmode from "interactive" to "batch".
But this solution slows down spectre because it forces it to re
netlist.

Have you got any error/warning message into your Spectre Log or CIW
log ?

I'm aware of your issue through customer support - in fact I suggested using
"batch" mode to the AE supporting you.

Using "batch" mode does not cause a re-netlist, by the way. It just means that
spectre will re-start every time you run. In this specific case it would have
re-started because the analyses changed.

What should be happening is that a message to spectre should be getting through
to tell it to restart, but that's obviously not happening for some obscure
reason.

There's a log file that you could look at - I'll suggest that to the AE who is
handling your SR.
