Looks like most of those vitamin and mineral doses are met with a general purpose multivitamin such as Centrum brand. They don\'t mention bioflavonoids, powerful antioxidants and usually added to many vita-C supplements. I wouldn\'t take any of those stomach acid inhibitors, there are other problems associated with them they don\'t mention. Also, they don\'t mention the \"antinutrient\" effect of many prescription medications, that is their interference with essential uptake and resulting deficiencies. So you might check for that if you\'re on a prescription med:

Was going to mention amino acid chelated mineral supplementation to circumvent problems with intestinal absorption and bioavailabilty, the absorption part becoming a serious problem with older people. But WebMD shoots down the whole idea with their insufficient evidence stuff.

Anyway, watch the medical literature dosing which is mostly intravenous mg/kg body mass, when the bioavailabilty when taken orally can be really small, like fractions of a percent, meaning you\'re throwing money away taking anything like that.
