I have several Simplex MapNet addressable modules for a fire alarm system. I
am curious about developing a home system to monitor dry contact closure
using these modules, but I cannot find any information for the addressable
ICs:
Harris, TA11850 (DateInfo? 100037A, J 9218)
ST Micro, SGLM8BETN-00 C (DateInfo?H2DAA9544)
AMI, FS1024 (DateInfo? 246-621, D-9813LUN)
These ICs address up to 127 devices, using 7 DIP switches, and communicate
on a twisted pair of wires.
Would someone be able to point me to some information on this? What protocol
it uses? ie. RSxxx? 20 mA loop? Software?
