I just noticed that Silicon chip have available complete yearly
archives in electronic format for 2002, 2003 and 2004. Basically the
same price as the regular subscription though:
http://www.siliconchip.com.au/cms/access/subprices.html

A bit rich I think, but at least they are avialable for those that want
them.
Now if only they'd bring out the complete EA CD set...

Dave :)

As a long standing subscriber I'd like to receive these archives at
cost. That way I could dump my paper copies and free up some shelf
space.

Hello

With the SC electronic edition, do you get the whole magazine or just
on-line access to specific articles and coloumns?

A while ago it looked like you got access to on-line, web page versions
of the main features. Just wondering if it's changed?

I buy SC each month from the local book shop. I like reading throught
the adverts as well as the articles.

I also subscribe to the electronic version of a US mag and download a
pdf of the whole thing each month, adverts and all. It's not as
convenient as a printed copy but it's a fraction of the price.

I believe you get the whole thing in PDF format, exactly as printed,
although I have not seen it myself to confirm this.

I get the electronic edition of Circuit Cellar, my last renewal cost me
$5US for the year, yep 5 lousy bucks. A bargain.

I'd get the SC Electronic Edition if it was cheaper.

I've been asked a few times if I get a free SC subscription for being a
contributor. The answer is of course no ;-(

Point is, why would you want to buy back issues. In fact, why would
you want to buy current issues? This mag is only good for the most
basic outdated projects. Good if you are learning the outdated trade
of electronics.
