A 22-year-old woman was arrested for battery Saturday afternoon for
striking a man in the face with her cell phone.
Yata Aeisha Brown of 4013 NW 12th Terrace hit the victim, a former
domestic partner, with her phone through the passenger window of a car,
according to a Gainesville Police Department report.
The victim rolled up the window and a witness drove the car away.
Brown was arrested on charges of burglary of an occupied conveyance and
simple battery. She was being held Sunday in the Alachua County jail on
$60,000 bond.
