Sharp R-84ST microwave

I have this Sharp R-84ST microwave, it has the problem in the LCD display as
the A/N 8 segment characters are only displaying the lower-halves making it
very hard to understand what the cooker is telling ?

The LED backlighting is OK and I found no erratic connections or
solderjoints..I have heard that this is a common problem to SHARP's
product..
Is there any chance to fix-it ? other than ordering a new CCA ?

My experience, unless it is poor solder connections on the controller, is to
get a complete item via Sharp. This is a common problem with their micro
controllers here in US.
