Sharp Mini CD Error

My sharp CD-BA150 says PROTECT when i turn it on and i dont know why. It
also wont let me reset the microcomputer

It sounds like you have a short, must likely from a failed component(s) in

If it's a complete system with amplifier - I'd suspect a main amp and/or
power supply problem.
