Sharp 3-disc changer (Mini sound system) cd-c3

Hi,
Has anyone had experience with a 3 disc changer in a Sharp mini soundsystem?
The one I have here is a Sharp CD-C3. The problem is that the cd-player does
not work anymore. It give error E-02, but before the error, it makes a lot
of noise. I've opened it up I when I tried to load a cd, I see that the
charger has difficulties to open, I blocks at a certain point and give and
error. If I give is a little push, then the cd can be loaded!!

Has anyone repaired this?
Any ideas?

Hi, I had a similar problem with a nice Sony unit I rescued from the kerb.
I t appeared that the plastic tray carrying the 3 disc rotating unit had
deformed slightly , I guess with heat and would not load fully into the
machine such that the laser would not come into operation and report no
disc. I was able to put a small piece of electrical tape onto one of the
plastic slides that the tray travelled on , which was just enough to lift
the tray as it was closing to avoid it catching and not fully closing.
You may have a similar deformation problem
