serial to //

Hi

I am looking for a device taht convert serial data to file://comme
like sn74ls164 (8 bits)
but which incorporate a /CS in order to not disturb if I send clk and data
on "A" pin.
and that works in 16 bits

I know I can put two in serial with a logic gate to do the /CS...

the sn74ls673 exist but I have not understand every thing of the how to deal
with it ???
