I have a 1988 Sears TV with CRT, model 564-54710751 that has lost its red
color.
It had been slightly bleeding to the right for a long time, but now it is
gone.
I've cleaned and checked for adjustments, which, there are none that I can
see.
A day later it appears that some red is trying to come back, but it is not
stable and very faint. The red is still bleeding to the right. The picture
is still sharp with good brightness and contrast.
Are there any experiences with this and the correction/repair?
Thanks to all replies.

CButler:
Have you verified that the Red Drive is present at the RK of the CRT? You
can swap the RK with either the GK or BK to verify if the problem is in the
CRT or the drive circuitry.... you may have to cut a trace or two and
install temporary jumpers. Also, the color bleeding is probably caused by
a weak emission CRT. The operational correction procedure is to back off
on the brightness, contrast and color intensity slightly.
