I just picked up an old kenwood cs-5135, when displaying i got a ghosted
line, what is this from?

Looks to me like you have a waveform that has a long pulse followed by a
long gap followed by a bunch of short pulses, since there is no ghost
under the first few short pulses. Either that or your timebase is
changing intermittently. What is your input signal source?

I attached a gif of what I'm trying to say.
