As an occasional home user, it's not worth it for me to pay to calibrate
my 465B, but it would be nice to know that it's accurate.
eBay often has calibrators listed, but they're presumably just as
suspect as any old scope.
But - if I test the calibrator on a calibrated scope, I'll know if it's
working correctly, and then could use it to calibrate another scope.
Right? I obviously would not get NIST traceability, but I'd be close
enough for jazz. Do calibrators themselves tend to drift fairly
rapidly, or is it likely that if it's accurate now, it'll stay that way
for some time?
