I am running a simulation that takes about a week to finish. I
launched the AMS designer simulation from within ADE in interactive
debugger mode, so simvision popped up. After a few days I saved a
snapshot (aka checkpoint) in simvision and now wavescan will not load
results past the point where I saved the snapshot. I will only load
the results up until the point in simulation time at which the
snapshot was saved. I noticed that in my psf results directory that
there is not only the "psf.trn" file but also two more: "psf-1.trn"
and "psf-2.trn". I have saved two snapshots, is that the reason I am
now seeing these two extra *.trn files? Also, assuming this is the
reason, why can't wavescan load the results from these files? Has
anybody else run into these problems before? I can view the entire
simulation in simvision, but I want to take FFTs on the data and I
need the more powerful calculator that comes with wavescan. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
