I have in for repair a Sanyo VHR-7260E video
recorder, circa 1993, UK spec. There is
virtually no picture or sound from the tuner,
just a scramble of lines and maybe a hint of
sound occasionally. I have fed the tuner
directly from a UHF signal to eliminate the
aerial input/combiner can, results were the
same.
Squirting freezer around the tuner and IF can
got me nowhere.
All other aspects of the machine seem OK.
Before I consign this old banger to the tip,
I wondered if this might be a stock fault?
Anyone had this before and been able to
resolve it?
Thanks if you can help. Please copy any replies
