Sanyo TV Reliability

I need to buy a new 27 inch tv. Consumer's Reports says that Sanyo
tv's are among the most reliable sets. Anyone have strong feelings on
the subject, pro or con?

My parents have my old 20" Sanyo. It's about 10-11 years old by now and
still has a very good picture. I did tweak it a many years ago to get rid
of a strong green bias. The only issue is that the switch that toggles the
speakers on and off (when you use an external amp) is dirty and sometimes
causes the speakers to cut off and on.
