Hi
I have a 29" Sanyo TV that keeps losing its channel reception as if it had
gone off the air.I flexed the circuit board hoping to pick up a cold solder
joint, but was not successful.Anybody have any suggestions?

More than likely, a dry joint will be inside the tuner itself.

Have you tried that ??

There is a 39,000 ohm (39 kohm) resistor on the
30 volt dc line! Sometimes the tuner needs to be
resoldered, & sometimes, replaced! Try the resistor!
That should fix it! Rono.

Yes, It depends which tuner setup this set has. If it has 2 cables going to the
tuner, (ant input and PLL), look for the 39k resistor between the 130v supply
and the tuning voltage pin on the tuner.
If the tuner has only 1 cable (ant input) going into the tuner, then the 39k is
not used so look elsewhere.
