I purchased this 20" set new(AVM20F5) at Costco in June 2003.
Replaced it July 2003 as the original one had a funny horizontal color
line at the top of the screen. Starting two days ago there are funny
power lines (?) on the screen and the actual picture was inverted
until the set seemed to 'warm up'. This was on all channels.

My daughter purchased the same model in March 2003. Last weekend the
set made a funny sound when turned on and then the picture tube went
haywire. It was replaced on the weekend. What's up with this TV?

I would suggest you bring it back again. Get a descent brand name. Look at
the Sony or Panasonic sets. You will have much less problems with these.
With these names, parts and service are easier to have when there is no more
warranty.
