Police issued an arrest warrant Wednesday charging the gallery owner, Shannon Collier Gwin, with misdemeanor battery “for the alleged intentional & unlawful spraying of water on & around” the homeless person, District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said in a tweet.

Gwin, 71, was arrested on Wednesday afternoon near his shop and was booked into San Francisco County Jail on the battery charge, according to police.

That oughta be good for a $50 fine... but the ultimate cost will be much more after the art crowd boycotts the fool and his gallery.

I guess some gas stations are playing classical music over loud speakers to keep bums away.
I wonder what effect it has on paying customers.

Twenty years or so ago, there was a 24/7 deli near here that had a
problem with kids loitering in the parking lot at night and discouraging
customers. They put up some speakers and played James Last and other
easy listening icons, not too loudly. ;)

Cleaned it right up, no cops required.

Cheers

Tony Bennett should make them scatter.

This woman was apparently insane. She liked to scream obscenities at passersby. Typically the police show up and ask her \"Are we having a problem today?\"

A definite difference between Last\'s group and The Charlie Daniels Band.

are a lot prettier.

Screaming is protected by the \"1st\". Spraying water is not.
