Samsung TV yoke wanted

Guest
Hi all

I'm looking for a replacement deflection yoke for a Samsung CS-721APF television
(72cm).

The original one has burnt out one set of its windings.

The TV is about 7 years old so I'm a bit dissapointed that apparently Samsung no
longer stock the part.

The yoke part number is DSQ-2912AL and made by TDK.

Would be great to hear from anybody who can help.

cheers.

Hi...

Local ng's, looking for another set that may be dead
and considered not worth repair? Offer a few dollars
for it?

Just a thought; I got a (needed) CRT as well as a
handful of other (future needs?) parts that way once.

Take care.

Who made the CRT?

If the CRT was made by RCA, then you'll likely have to replace the entire
picture tube whenever the deflection yoke goes bad. The deflection yokes of a
lot of RCA picture tubes were bonded into place, so there would be no way to
get the yoke off without damaging the picture tube. - Reinhart

It's a Samsung CRT with a separate yoke.

I tried Emailing you , but you know how that goes nowadays in usenet.

If you can also take some pictures of the old Yoke (Front and back) With
closeups of the Connectors, perhaps something else on a Similar Brand here
in the US would be a Sub. Link the Pictures inside your post if possible. We
will do our best.

Hmm, dont know why you had a problem with emailing me, it's a working address.
Sorry anyway. Have posted my request to your New Parts Request Forum.

I've now found the correct yoke at samsungparts.com, its this one:
http://snipurl.com/65rp

Before I found it in their database I'd emailed them the part number on the yoke
and they interestingly replied that they dont stock parts for overseas models
(I'm in Australia).

When I replied back pointing out I'd found the part in their database they
didn't respond. Very strange.

So now I'm wondering if samsungparts.com are reputable business, has anybody
here dealt with them?
