Does anyone have a schematic of this TV. A Zener diode, DZ91 is shorted.
Marked on the diode is R2KN. I need to know the value.

Don't know this model but R2KN is an overvoltage avalanche diode usually on
the main HT rail. I would isolate the PSU from the line stage, get PSU
working at the correct output voltage with a dummy load, check for possible
faults caused by excessive HT, replace s/c diode. Switch on using a variac,
winding up slowly till it reaches correct input voltage and HT and
regulation are OK. From memory R2KN avalanches at 180V but don't qoute me
on that!

Thanks Jeff. C810 was only reading 50 Mfd, C09 had a high ESR.
