Run Time Addition/Deletion of PLI Objects

Is there a VPI-like interface that will allow me to create a
task/function that will create/delete nets, modules at run time in a
given design? For verification, I'd like to create a another module
automatically and tie its inputs to the original module's inputs via
buffers, changing the input values of the second module to reflect
various possible conditions.

Creation of modules using generics is supported.
Runtime generics is something which is claimed to be supported but
there are limitations,

You cannot increase the number of the instances that can happen at run
time.

About PLI , no , pli is just debug, though in future the way PLI is
coming up, I believe that it will be the next generation of HDL
language, No need to get through Verilog/VHDL ,


But for your solution, yes, you can try runtime generics which is
supported in VCS
