RTL power estimation

Hi,
Is there any way of estimating the power of an RTL design, other than
using Synopsys Power Compiler?

Try to contact your final silicon supplier. It's quite common to make
a simulation which has a high toggle rate. Then generate a VCD file
which is read into a power estimation tool provided by your vendor.
