Rod Speed Reflects Another Aspect of the Recession

The recession started over a year ago and a lot of less than
politically astute Americans, having consumed a steady diet of
misinformation, lies by omission, lies by hype and lies by outright
lying from their government teachers, their corp. media, their
politicians, their bosses and their buddies, for decades on end, have
been in a state of denial.

Instead of adapting to change the dunces in denial create a fantasy
world for themselves, very similar to plains Indians' ghost dancing.

Rod Speed doesn't have much to say, a lot of his stuff is just plain
looney and he's obviously wrong and counterproductive when he accuses
everyone of bullshitting about everything but those indulging in
fantasy here need to snap out of it.

For one thing it is a whole lot harder to deceive on newsgroups than
many think.

The people who get away with lies and scams are the ones who are fully
aware they are scammers. They are _not_ in a fantasy world.

The recession started with our mutually perpetrated cold-war that's
still ongoing and inflating the cost of most everything in sight.

Without a s good surplus of cheap, clean and renewable energy, we're
screwed.

We'd best create at least 100 federally mandated thorium reactors and
otherwise drill for geothermal energy like there's no tomorrow, public
funding every other form of private green/renewable energy by 50%.

btw, we'll also need to more than double our national power grid
capacity.
