RJ-45 snap in wall face plates - Wher do I get them and how

I am looking for snap in wall face plates that accept RJ-45 snap in sockets.

I want each plate to have space for 4 x RJ-45's & 2 x 'F' (Pay TV style)
connectors.

If I cant get the above combo I would like the face plate to have space for
6-8 RJ-45's and I will use a separate face plate for the 'F' connectors.

Anyone know where I can get these for a reasonable price? I also need the
RJ-45 snap in sockets to go with them.

I am going to cable my house with CAT5e very soon but need to know where I
can get these first.

Your local electrical wholesaler (John R Turks, Ideal Electrical, L&H etc)
should stock this stuff.

Clipsal manufacture a range of data/phone comms connections. Check
them out at your local Middy's or Lawrence and Hansen.

As well as the other places, Jaycar were selling them.

I would be interested in what pricing you get on them. The wall plates
seemed to be only $2 each, but the RJ45 sockets were about $10 each when
I last priced them.
 
Get single ones just about anywhere but with 6 or 8 connections? I doubt it.

you can get exactly what you want

I have used normal clipsal 6 gang switch plates in the past with 4 x
RJ45 mechs and 2 x "F" mechs clipped into them

anyone who sells clipsal will fix you up

I guess that means I'm imagining the 8-way RJ-45 wall plate I installed
on my wall at home, with eight patch cables going to my network
switch... :)

As other posters have pointed out, electrical wholesalers are where you
get these things.

Oops - I *was* imagining it. It's only a 6-way wall plate :-(
