Anyone care to compare the two brands. I am looking for a 100 MHz, 4 ch scope.

How much are they. I really want a keysight 'scope... I think the

If you aren't particular about USB, you can get a nice refurb TDS744 for
less than $900 on eBay. An hour's work turns it into a 4 GS/s, 1-GHz
TDS784. (I've done two of them.)
They're reasonably simple to talk to via GPIB, if you have a Prologix
GPIB adapter. Simon and I have been taking a bunch of laser noise data
that way recently.

If you aren't particular about USB, you can get a nice refurb

Well, if you live in your car, the tradeoffs are different of course.
What are you measuring, the battery voltage?
