rfid turn-on circuits

Hi group,

I'm a student @ the University of NSW, and for a project, I have to design a
RFID circuit

Currently, I'm looking at a suitable Turn-On Circuit for the system (and
also documents on how to design a Turn-On Circuit), and googling did not
help much... would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?
