RF transistor load pull simulation with SPICE

Could some electronics guru here please clarify this ?
Is it feasible to perform load pull simulation for a
RF transistor using SPICE's transient(large signal)
analysis scheme ? Of course the load or source has
to be changed over a range of values, and for each
run measure the RMS input output power ? Thanks in
advance.

Steve Cripps used it for some purpose his RF Power Amplifiers book, and taught classes. (I took a class taught by him at Besser Associates in 1999-2000 or so.) I haven't had much cause since 2003 to use his book, or material, so I don't remember the details. The book is now in its 2nd Ed. Highly recommended.

Basic load-line matching gets you 95% of the way there -- to Popt at the load-pull "football" center.
