RF communication

I am building a small weather station for my own enjoyment. I want to
communicate between two motorola micros over about 20m at 433MHz. Anybody
know of any simple DIP chipsets that I could use to do this. I am only
sending a few bytes from the remote to the base station. Can't use SMT
(bugger!)
