Resume ModelSim sim from wlf?

Hello,

Sometimes while running very long simulations in the background I need
to reboot. In cases like this it would be nice to be able to pause the
simulation and save the dataset so I can continue later. I am familiar
with saving the dataset to a wlf and then opening the dataset for
viewing. I've tried reopening the dataset in this way, but I don't see
if it's possible to resume the sim at the exact time point I left off.
Iirc, when I reload the sim and open the wlf, it will start running
from t=0. Is there a way to continue a simulation?

Thanks,
-Brandon

Hi Brandon,

This is called checkpoint and restore and AFAIK only supported on SE/Questa.
