Hi,
Part of the VHDL-200X Fast Track work (targeted for completion
this year) includes enhancements to the current packages
as well as addition of packages for fixed point and
floating point math.
We need additional people to review these packages and the
other package enhancements. Want to help? Review the
packages and submit your comments via the vhdl-200x-ft
working group reflector or send them directly to me if
you don't want to sign up for the reflector.

Revised versions of the packages are at:

Although the standards are sponsored by IEEE, IEEE membership
is not required. IEEE rules only require that you have a
vested interest in the standard - which you have since you are
reading this on the comp.lang.vhdl reflector.
