Hi,
I want to write a script that analyzes the report of the "report_area cell"
command.
The goal is to get the number of latches used in a design.
My problem is that Leonardo or Precision reports "Dffs and Latches" common.
But I only need to know the number of Latches.
Timing Report :
Number of Dffs or Latches : 105
Number of Function Generators : 198
Number of MUX CARRYs : 20
Number of MUXF5 : 25
Number of MUXF6 : 5
Number of gates : 189
Number of accumulated instances : 389
What I need is :
Number of Dffs : 105
Number of Latches : 0
....
Is there a way or an other command to get a more detailed report of a
design.
