Replacement part?

Have a part on a display / control board from industrial equipment, marked
with:

UCN 4815A

date code in 1984 and manufacturer icon of a stylized capital "A" (very fat,
almost just a triangle). DIP-22 package.

The only other "UCN" part number I can find is a UCN5800 series:

http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheet/allegromicrosystems/5800.pdf

Does anybody know what the 4815 is, who the manufacturer is (or was), and --
hope against hope -- a datasheet?

And -- depending on the test results -- possibly a replacement part.

Thanks.

That's an Allegro chip. Mauser has them.

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that you should buy from them just to show
they were still around.

Might actually have been a Sprague part originally.

It's listed in my 1984 Sprague data book as a BiMOS Latch/Source Driver.

I believe it has been superseded by the UCN-5815A which appears to be directly compatible.
