I am the owner of replacementremotes.com and am looking for software or any
equipment that can read IR signals transmitted by remote controls... I am
trying to put together a database of IR signals by brands to see what remote
controls are compatible with others. If you can help or no someone who can,

this is a pair of natty little pyramid shaped reciever transmitter thingies
that take IR from all remotes, transmit by radio over some distance and then
re-emit as IR at the far end
