Relay Omron MY2: how to open?

Hi

I've got an old Marantz Receiver/Amplifier, which switched on the power by
an Omron MY2 Relay.
Periodically I should clean the contacts of the Relay.
I've made it only once.

Now I don't know how I should remove the plastic cover? :-(
A same cover one can see at
http://www.wanjia-relays.com/english/products/wj152/wj152a.htm

TIA

Where did that idea come from?? If you have to clean the
contacts due to a problem, the circuit is poorly designed,
and the repair action is incorrect. Replace the relay -
they are only 5 or 6 bucks.

If you want to clean the relay periodically, instead
of cleaning, just replace it.

My question was 'how to open'. :-(
I'm an amateur an to replace requires many ours of work.

To clean every 14 years is really a hard work. :-(

Well, then I guess I'll have to apologize for giving
you a better answer than you wanted. Sorry.

You have to remove the relay to open it.
It will take longer to remove the relay, open it, clean it
and put the cover back on and replace it than it will to
remove the relay and replace it with a new one. In addition,
you may damage the relay in the cover removal and cleaning
process. Aside from that, the Omron MY2 that you specified
is a plug in relay, and should not take many hours to replace.

If you want to clean the relay periodically, instead
of cleaning, just replace it.

To clean every 14 years is really a hard work. :-(
I have no idea what your point is in the above statement.

No, many guys in the NGs can't read or can't reply to the question. :-(

You have to remove the relay to open it.
My brain is old, but I can remember me, that 14 years before, I've only
removed the cover _not_ the relay.
But I can't remember how to remove it.
There's little space in the set and I can only grab/see it on top.

It will take longer to remove the relay, open it, clean it
and put the cover back on and replace it than it will to
remove the relay and replace it with a new one.
If the MY2 is still available, it'll take 1-2 weeks.

In addition,
you may damage the relay in the cover removal and cleaning
process. Aside from that, the Omron MY2 that you specified
is a plug in relay, and should not take many hours to replace.
OK, I'll check on removability.

If you want to clean the relay periodically, instead

No imagination?!
I've buy the device in 1975.
I've cleaned the relay at 1989.

Here is the PDF document on all the MY series relays. The case

Just grab hold of the cover and pull off with a
rocking motion.

The cover is held by some plastic lugs on the
black base that clip into the clear plastic
case. Carefulling pulling/rocking/twisting is
usually enough to get the case off.
