I am chasing a accurate regulator (tempiture compensated?) for use in a
project. Does anyone have a chip no. they can throw my way - Ive checked out
google and the national site...

Any more hints about what you're after? ie. 1000V @ 100A or 12V @ 1A??

national site? I assume you mean getting free samples from National
Semiconductors... I have almost enough to make myself a 5ch 50WRMS audio
amplifier all for free :) thankyou national semiconductor...
