Reduce netlist with parasitic resistors

Hello,
during a parasitic extraction executed by DIVA, I obtain a lot of
parasitic resistors of the same kind. I noticed that a lot of it are
in series or in parallel. Does someone know if is possible to
automatically compute (during or after extraction) these resistors in
series or in parallel so I would obtain a netlist with less component
to be simulated?

Thank you,

Camelot

Diva automatically reduces series and parallel resistors during
extraction. The exception is if they are on different layers. Is this
the case you are seeing? If so, can I assume you would like an option to
tell Diva to do network reduction across layers that use the same
resistor models?

Yes, the last case you mentioned is mine. Does this option exist?
It should be also interesting having an option able to do what Jivaro
tool do that is a general reduction of the complexity of the netlist
with an acceptable guarantee on the accurateness....

No, there is no such option. Nobody has ever asked that the inter-layer
mesh be reduced. You'll have to file an enhancement request or it will
never get done.

Forgive me,
but the reduction on the parasitics coming from the some layer is
automatic or you have to define something in the rule file?

Thank you,
