Red Lion Counters

Hi all,
I am working on a home project that requires 20
Sub Cub 2 counters. These are $$$. Does anyone
have a surplus source of these? Goldmine has the
smaller ones, but these are too small for this application.

It depends on exactly what you're doing, but in the hobbyist world
there's been a long tradition of buying cheap 8-digit calculators
on sale, pressing "1" and "+" by hand, and then wiring up the
count impulse to close the "=" contact. I've seen 8-digit
calculators as cheap as $0.50 at Target.
